How to choose the perfect Indian Bridal Wear?

Indian Bridal Wear
Right since their childhood, girls start dreaming about their marriage. The fairy tales that they read creates a beautiful imagery in their impressionable minds and it remains till they time they are about to get married. And a fairy tale wedding is incomplete without the perfect dresses. Dresses play a really important part in making these weddings how we’ve wanted them to be. And for a to-be-bride, there’s nothing as joyful and exciting as shopping for Indian Bridal Wear.

Choosing the perfect bridal wear requires some planning. Let’s see how to go about and get the perfect dresses:

Have a budget in mind
Budget is really important when it comes to wedding shopping. Wedding clothes are so attractive that you’ll feel like buying all of them, but it might interfere with your budget. That’s why you can have a specific budget. This will help you to select clothes faster and you won’t find chasing other clothes that you don’t need. Yes, going a little overboard is allowed. After all, it’s your marriage!

Keep time on your side
You cannot get up one fine morning just a few weeks before marriage and think that you want to start shopping! You need to start looking out for clothes several months in advance. I’d say, at least 6 months in advance. By the time your wedding approaches, everything will be ready. You’ll know which dress to wear for which event. If you’ve time on your side, you can visit different cities in order to get authentic clothing from that region. For example, Banarasi sarees from Banaras, Kanjivaram sarees from South!

Choose the right material
If your wedding is in winter, silks and velvets might do well. But if your wedding is in summer, you might want to consider something softer and lighter, like georgette sarees, which will not make you perspire a lot! There are varied materials to choose from in saris. There’s a choice of crepe, pure silk, georgette, cotton, chiffon, velvet, satin etc.

Always look out for a comfortable material. You’ll have to stand for hours at the reception, waiting till every guest has come and clicked photographs with the newlyweds! A comfortable dress will also make you look more elegant since it will be easier to carry. You wouldn’t want to frown on your D-Day just because of an uncomfortable saree!

At times, we don’t know what will suit us, but the people around us who have seen us grow up do. That’s why wedding shopping is pretty fun, especially when you take along friends and family members. Your well wishers will help you in selecting something that makes your beautiful self look better. So we guess you’re all set for wedding shopping!
